Our Programs are designed to attend the Brazilian community's first needs and priorities when immigration to the Okanagan. They also focus on promoting our language and culture among the members living in the Valley.
All programs are available to Association members and their dependents non-members of up to 19 years of age. Some of them are subject to charges.

The OgoCuca Program aims to bring and maintain the Portuguese language and Brazilian culture among the children of Brazilian immigrants living in the Okanagan region. The workshops focus on interactive content and dynamic activities to capture and maintain the kids' attention and interest for the language and culture of our country.
Moving abroad is undoubtedly one of the most challenging moments in life for most people. Information and planning are essential to make this a less-stressful process. This Program aims to assist those planning to immigrate to the Okanagan and newcomers who just arrived in preparing and adapting to the new life here. The program will provide participants with information about cities and neighborhoods in the Valley, renting, health insurance, schools for children, driver's license, institutions offering support to immigrants, among other crucial information that will help making the process easier,
This Program will provide participants with job search guidance, including information about the Canadian and Okanagan job markets, resume and cover letter preparation, interview tips, how to search and apply for jobs, and other important information to help the participant finding the desired professional opportunity and getting hired.
This Program consists of English conversation workshops for adults aiming to train and improve their speaking skills. The workshops content is focused on practical vocabulary and pronunciation tips in order to prepare the participant for everyday situations in Canada and for a more natural conversation in English.
This Program aims to connect Brazilian newcomers with the Brazilian community in the Okanagan, through sporting events held throughout the year. The Program also provides information on how to sign up for local sports events and groups, dates, costs, and locations.
